Technically, anyway. That's when the vacation ends. Two trips, one convention, visiting with friends, all that good stuff.

Well, now. The art slump (what I am officially calling my slackerish break after completing that Supernatural drawing) seems to be over. I'm working on three different projects now. ILAD chapter 3 is being worked on, for example . . . . cover drawn, first of the art pages sketched out, all written . . . all that good stuff. I HOPE that it and chapter 4 will be out sometime in June. I hate to make people wait like 2 months in between each upload, but there's no way it will be ready this month. Reason being, I will be gone for half of the month! On May 16th I have to fly up north for a family thing, and then the day after I get back, I fly back up to Georgia to go with to Animazement! (We will be in the artist's alley--look for Strawberry Comics!) I will return on the 28th, but I have to visit with more family and a friend from Japan as well so I may not be back until the beginning of June. Please draw me pretty things so I'll have something to look at when I return.

Edit for 5.6.08: Everyone preordering MCR's The Black Parade is Dead? I'm a bit bummed Heaven Help Us isn't on there D: Still, I'm sure as hell getting the skull! The MCR Book of DOOOOOM is still fan-side right now. Looks like it may take awhile to get it to the band. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried traditional methods already (like asking 'official' people for an address to mail it to), and I've had no luck.

I'll be spending the next couple of weeks packing and getting things together for both trips, so I'll unofficially start my hiatus now. Thanks in advance for faves and comments and devwatches, guys!

Hey, guys--one of the lovely people who worked on the book has offered to take it with them to an upcoming show. I'm going to be mailing the book out on Saturday, so, please, if you have anything you want to add to the book, get it to me by Saturday MORNING. Like . . . . 10 AM EST.

Alrighty, then--sorry, MCR book-helpers, but my friend was not able to hand the book over to anyone during the show. To make a long story short (kind of), while she may have had a chance or two to do so, she had put it in her car for safekeeping because there was a lot of shit going down at the venue. She and her friend stood near the medics and security for the duration of the show and saw two girls get sent to the hospital, parents being arrested for punching others, young kids getting shoved around in the mosh pit, and people being escorted out by security. Really hectic, and while it's too bad she couldn't fork it over, there will be other chances. She was just too afraid that it would get damaged and I totally understand. SO . . . . the book is still with her but I'll be getting it back shortly. Any of you who want to add something--like a letter or note--let me know.

We WILL get this to the band, one way or another!

In other news, I am still very lazy. Art trades will be completed as soon as I get out of my laziness slump!

HAI THAR.

I have a handful of art trades left to do, and I'm sorry it's taking me awhile. I'm juggling three projects right now on top of those and my recent cold rendered me absolutely worthless for about a week (caught up on my sleep, though!). I can't post anything that I'm working on right now on here (at the moment), so . . . . kinda . . . boring around here, I guess XD; Still getting a lot of faves and I thank you all for them--the comments, too! They are always appreciated.

Uhm . . . . I have really no other news, except and I will be at Animazement at the end of May. We may have mini-comics of ILAD and other things for sale there, so, please CHECK US OUT at our TABLE. SHINY THIIIINGS!!!!

I hit the 10-year mark with my company today. The other day I got a shiny plaque. "It won't break like the old ones!" said one manager . . . . Har. har har. This is only funny if you work where I do, I suppose. I feel old.
